Using the powerful technique that I am going to show you soon, you are going to discover almost everything your audiences are interested.

First, Identify Two Popular Pages In Your Niche.

You can use Facebook to identify two fan pages about PlayStation.
Let’s take the following pages:

Second: Identify Pages Liked By Your Audience

Search the following terms in Facebook graph search

Pages liked by people who like Playstation 4 and PS3

Make sure to substitute with 2 pages in your target niche. These are the two pages identified earlier.

You are going to get a list of pages liked by your audience

Take notes of all

♦ Products
♦ Services
♦ Toys and others liked by your audiences.

I would always prefer to categorize as

♦ Precise interest: Such as PlayStation 2 , Playstation 3 or PS 4 etc
♦ Related interest such as product names or Brands Like Sony PlayStation
♦ In some niches,you should also consider things like organizations, associations, games, music, athletes, etc liked by your audiences.

Action: Take notes of all pages, related to your target topic.

Search the following in Facebook graph search. Make sure to use the two fan pages used earlier.

Please remember that some people could also write Play Station 3, instead of PlayStation 3. So, we are going to bid on such kind of terms

First, you are going to login into your Facebook account. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ads/create

In this section, I am going to show you how to identify the demographics of your audience,especially the age group and gender.

Here is how you do it …

For the sake of demonstration, let’s use “Playstation” games toy niche. First, identify an authority site in your niche. To identify authority site for playstation games,you can use Google or Alexa. Let’s take

Once you hit search,you are going to get traffic and demographic data that looks like this.

Since you are interested on the demographic data,click “Demographics” link located at the right side of the page.
Once you click the link,you are going to get all the details about the demographic of your audience.

You are going to need the age group and gender of your audiences.

Step 3: Create Compelling and Relevant AD Copy

Next, is to create an ad copy that appeals to your target audience. So, in this section, I am going to show you how to create a very simple and powerful ad copy.

1. Compelling: you need a high CTR ad. High CTR equals LOW CPC.
2. Relevant: You Want to Create Ads that Resonates with Your Audience.

You are going to design your ad taking into consideration these two key points.
As a reminder Facebook ad copy has three components.

High CTR Equals Low CPC

If you are promoting CPA offers or sales based affiliate programs with Facebook ads, it is best to bid on CPC (cost per click) basis. But, for like campaigns, it is recommended to bid on CPM basis.

In simple terms, if you want to use Facebook ads to build your fan base, you are going to bid on CPM basis. Which means, you are going to pay for every thousand impression of your ad.

What does this mean? f you design high CTR ads, you are going to get lots of clicks. If your ad sucks, you are going to waste your money.

How to Pick Compelling Image for Your Facebook Ad

As I have repeatedly noted, if you really want to get cheap clicks and likes with Facebook, you need to have compelling and relevant ad.

And, you have to clearly understand that the image and title part of an ad copy are used to attract your audience attention.

Image plays great role in boosting the CTR of your campaign.In fact, it contributes more than 70%.

Therefore, if you really want to create highly effective ad, you need to pick the right image. I can’t stress this enough. This is very critical.

The image part is the most influential and critical element used for gaining your audience attention. If your ad fails to capture your prospects attention, your ad fails completely.

Let me show the image I used to get more that 1.7% CTR in Playstation niche.

Instead of using the obvious PS4 images, I used an image of one of the games included in PS4.

You can see this image resonates with the PS audience. Because, PS lovers enjoy playing games. Even though I was getting huge CTR, 1.683% consistently, I ended up paying $0.02 CPC. Because, the niche is extremely competitive with high Average CPC.

Use unique, relevant and compelling image that resonates with your target audience.

Another important point I want to remind you is that Ad blindness is very common with Facebook ad. To minimize the effect of ad blindness, you need to select very unique images. I highly recommend you to split test multiple varieties of images and identify the best performing once.

One point that I want to make very clear is Facebook ad is all about split testing. So, I highly recommend you split test as many images as possible so as to come with the best CTR image.

How to Create a Compelling Title

The purpose of title is to get your prospects attention. So, if you really want to attract your audience’s attention, you need to have very powerful title.

The good news for like campaigns,creating a powerful title is very simple. Please don’t complicate this part.

Asking questions is the most powerful to attract your audience attention.

Make it so simple.

Finally let’s see how to write powerful description. For like campaigns, it is so simple. Try to create a very simple, with call to action.

Like “Click “Like” if you love PlayStation.”

Step 4: Create a test Ad, Split test and Optimize

In the previous sections, I showed you how to prepare all you need to build highly successful ad campaign.

In this section, I am going to show you how to set up a new Facebook campaign.

But, before you get started, please prepare all items you need.
Here is a list of items you need to prepare before you get started:

1. A country to target. This is where your audiences are located.
2. Age group
3. Gender of your audience
4. Interests of your audience
5. Pages your audiences have liked
6. Title for your ad
7. Image( Prepare lots of relevant and compelling images)
8. Description of your ad

If any of the points mentioned above are not clear for you, go back and refer the manual again.
If everything is ready, let’s get started …

Ad Setup Step 1: Select Your Fan page

To create your new ad campaign,first Login to Your Account and click https://www.facebook.com/ads/create
After clicking “the link above” you’ll be taken to a page that looks like the image below:

Under the “What do you want to advertise?” question, Select the fan page your want to advertise

Ad Setup Step 2: Choose “Get More Page Likes“ Option

Under the “What would you like to do?” question, you will see three options. Since you are interested to get fans, select “Get More Page Likes” option.

Ad Setup Step 3: Create Your Ad

Now, you are going to create your ad. Please note that every information you are going to use is based on the action of previous steps.

Next, At this time, you are not going to run Sponsored ads.Therefore please click “Remove” link.

Ad Setup Step 4: Enter the Demographics of Your Audiences

Next,you are going to enter the demographics of your interest. Please, use your data collected in the earlier steps.

For country targeting, please enter countries your audiences are located. You can enter United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, etc depending who you want to target.

Ad Setup Step 5: Enter Your Audience Interest and Likes

In the earlier section of the blueprint, I showed you powerful ways to identify the interest and likes of your audience. Now, you are going to use them here.

Enter the interests and likes of your audience one by one.

Use what you have found in step 1.

Please note that this is one of the most important parts you need to be careful. If things are not clear for you, go back, refer the manual and enter the precise interests of your audience based on step 1 results.

Make also sure first to target precise interest. As I said before, if you don’t have enough audience with precise targeting, then you can target # tagged or related interests.

Since your objective is to get new fans, select “only people not connected to …” option.

This would allow you to target those who are not your fans.

Finally you are going to enter your campaign name, budget and pricing.
